  • Can I follow this guide if I had a C-section??

    • Yes! You may need to take the program a bit slower and that is okay. Everyone’s postpartum recovery looks different so don’t compare yourself to your best friend. The phased approach to the exercises in this Ebook allows you to progress at your own speed. If you need help with any specific modifications for an exercise if something doesn't feel right, I am just an email away! There is a page dedicated to C-section scar mobilization/massage techniques to be performed once your incision is fully healed.

  • Can I follow this guide if I have a Diastasis Recti??

    • Yes. In this guide, you will find an educational video regarding how to assess for diastasis recti, what it is, and what factors influence healing. You will learn about how to monitor for doming/bulging along the linea alba where diastasis occurs. When rehabbing the postpartum core, it's important to first connect to and coordinate the deep core system (diaphragm, deep abs, and pelvic floor) and then progressively load and strengthen all of the abdominal muscles. This Ebook provides you with the basics of posture/alignment, breathing, and core rebuilding. The purpose of this guide is to give you a solid foundation to build upon by reconnecting to your deep core system. 

  • What if I can’t keep up with the exercises??

    • You can always pick up right where you left off if you get off track. Life with a newborn and other kiddos if you have toddlers at home also can be crazy!! Do what you can & if you get off track, don’t jump ahead. Start back at where you left off to make sure you still have that good foundation & then progress as you are able! If you only have 5 minutes a day, then do what you can in those 5 minutes! Any little bit is better than nothing and I promise you, it will pay off in the long run!

  • What if I am further along postpartum (6 months, 2 years, etc.)??

    • This program is still for you!!! Every exercise in this Ebook is beneficial no matter what stage postpartum you are at (whether you’ve had 1 baby or 3 babies). It is crucial to make sure you have a strong foundation, meaning your deep core (diaphragm, deep abdominals, and pelvic floor) is working properly and that is what this Ebook focuses on.
